Debate Tonight

Tonight Senator Cornyn will debate his opponents in Houston.

The Debate will air throughout Texas at 8:00 P.M. on PBS except in the Amarillo area where it will air at 9:00 P.M.

Texas Military Vote

Senator Cornyn launched a new website in an effort to bring more attention to the problem with the overseas voting system today.

The website, TexasMilitaryVote.com states:

"Nearly 1,000,000 military and overseas absentee ballots were requested for the 2006 election, but only one-third of them were actually counted. That means that more than 660,000 interested military voters were ultimately not able to have their voices heard. This is unacceptable."

New Site and New Ads

Welcome to our newly designed site!

Today the campaign released its first two commercials of 2008.

"Palo Duro," which many of you have probably seen already, shows Senator Cornyn discussing the need for the right kind of change in Washington.

In "Help" Senator Cornyn calls on Texans to pitch in and do what they can to help the victims of the recent Hurricanes that have hit Texas in the last three months.

Hurricane Ike

As Hurricane Ike continue to affect millions of Texans the campaign is encouraging those who can to donate to the American Red Cross. The campaign's thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the storm.
