Texas Military Vote
October 1, 2008
Senator Cornyn launched a new website in an effort to bring more attention to the problem with the overseas voting system today.
The website, TexasMilitaryVote.com states:
"Nearly 1,000,000 military and overseas absentee ballots were requested for the 2006 election, but only one-third of them were actually counted. That means that more than 660,000 interested military voters were ultimately not able to have their voices heard. This is unacceptable."
Please head over there and watch the Senator's videos discussing the need to change the current situation.
Feel free to leave your thoughts on the site and its goals in the comment section of this thread.
