At the end of last week the Democrat-controlled Congress shut off the lights and went on vacation without working towards a solution to our energy crisis.

Thanks to everyone who participated last week in Senator Cornyn's "Energy Independence Days." We had record traffic to the site and were delighted to have been joined by Gov. Huckabee, Gov. Palin, Speaker Gingrich, Commissioner Elizabeth Ames-Jones, Chairman Michael Williams, and others.
The Senator held a blogger conference call with supportive bloggers to coincide with the energy push. UrbanGrounds offers insight on the call here.
